Donald provides corporate direction in the development and application of emerging technologies for the benefit of clients with operational requirements for performance marine craft. His extensive personal experiences provide hydrodynamic expertise with emphasis on sea keeping, maneuvering, control, dynamic stability and propulsion for high-speed and special purpose craft. Donald has published numerous technical papers and lectured worldwide regarding technologies related to high-performance marine craft.

Donald received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from George Washington College, and he is a registered Professional Engineer in Virginia and North Carolina.

Donald is Principal, President, Secretary, and Director of Donald L. Blount and Associates, Inc., and is a Director of Bravo Romeo Limited and BRIM.
