Chris leads a wide variety of projects ranging from production and custom-built sportfishing and motor yachts
to para-military vessels. In working directly with both builders and end users, he has developed close
working relationships with some of the top names in the industry allowing for truly collaborative, world
class designs. Chris' level of involvement with his projects includes concept development and penning hull
lines to on-site sea trial evaluation and performance tracking - and anything in between. His experience
provides an excellent background for producing exceptional designs which meet and frequently exceed client
requirements while also satisfying DLBA's stringent design standards; all the while meeting often aggressive
schedule and budget scenarios. He currently works with clients throughout the US, the Caribbean, the Far
East, and South America.
Chris also has a strong background in and performs structural analyses using Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
in a wide variety of applications.
Chris received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University. He is well versed in
various CAD softwares and has written and contributed to several industry publications. He has passed the
EIT exam and is working toward his P.E. license.
